North Shore Youth Events and More - June 2024

UPCOMING:

Fresh Air Learning organization is looking for more summer volunteers! They have summer camps in North Vancouver in the first three weeks of July, and they are located close to the Argyle catchment in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. They also have staff and volunteer training coming up this coming Saturday, June 22nd and bear safety training (Zoom) in the evening of June 24th.
Camp volunteers work with experienced camp leaders to support children as they play and do hands-on activities and outdoor games in the forest. This is great experience for those who are considering going into teaching, ECE, or who are looking to gain job experience working with
children.

They are happy to take younger volunteers as well (14+).
Interested students can contact Tricia Edgar (Program Director) at tricia@freshairlearning.org or Katrina info@freshairlearning.org to set up a quick interview. They do require volunteers to complete an online criminal record check.
